If you participated in the 2020 West African Examination (WAEC) or know someone who did, it’s time to rub your hands and see the scores.
As announced by the WAEC Head of National Office, Patrick Areghan; the 2020 result for over 94% of students who sat for the exams is out and others are still been processed.
This is to inform all the candidates that participated in the 2020 West African Examinations Council (WAEC) May/June West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE) that they can now check their results online.
How to Check your WAEC Result online
You would need a WAEC Result Checker PIN to be able to check WAEC result online. Simply visit www.vtpass.com/waec-result to buy your Scratch card PIN at N1,800 only.
You get your PIN immediately after payment, displayed on VTpass website or app, and sent to you via email and SMS. Here is how to check your result online;
Your phone is switched off or unreachable as at when sending you the text
Network issues caused a delay in delivery of either mail or text
For any of the reasons above, there are steps you can take to resolve them before transferring a request to VTpass support.
What to do when PIN is not delivered instantly
We advise you to wait for an hour after payment. This would allow our system and third party merchants to work out payment before PIN is delivered.
If you didn’t receive our PIN via mail, kindly check your spam folder
If PIN didn’t deliver via text, it might be that your line is on DND. You would need to deactivate yourself from DND. To check if your line is on DND, text STATUS to 2442. To opt-out of DND, text ALLOW to 2442. Alternatively, you may contact your network provider to deactivate.
Always ensure that your phone is switched on when making payment. Although some messages deliver when you finally switch on your mobile, it’s recommended to leave it on.
When network downtimes get in the way, there is really little we can do until the issue clears. You would receive registration PIN immediately the network is stable.
Candidates with special needs will also register online like other candidates but they must dearly state their disabilities e.g blind, low vision, spastic, speech, etc.
Candidates MUST conclude registration within two weeks of first access to the website during the registration period. They should ensure that their names, gender, passport photographs, dates of birth, and subjects are correct.
