When we set up the auto-wallet funding feature on VTpass, our aim was to make wallet funding super easy. And we did.
However, recent development has made virtual wallet funding difficult; starting with Providus bank discontinuing support for virtual accounts to subsequent deactivation of automatic wallet funding.
While we are currently working to restore auto-wallet funding by assigning new virtual accounts to our customers, we have reactivated manual wallet funding as an alternative to serve you within this period.
How to fund your VTpass wallet manually
To fund your VTpass wallet manually, simply make payment into any of the following bank accounts:

After you have made payment, use the payment notification page to alert us of your payment. Here’s how to do so:
Login to your VTpass account using your username and password
Navigate to and click on “Quick Tools”
Click on “Payment Notification”
Fill the simple payment notification form
Once sent, VTpass would be notified of your payment and upon confirmation, your payment would reflect on your wallet.
New virtual account numbers would be resigned to account holders upon restoration of the auto-wallet funding service.

Few weeks ago, VTpass launched the new, exciting Instant Wallet Funding feature on the platform to allows users fund their wallets easily and super fast automatically.
The feature was introduced as part of our growth plans, and allows you to fund your wallet automatically simply by transferring to a unique account number that would be generated for and dedicated to you.

For this reason, VTpass announced a few days ago that manual crediting of wallets would no longer be available starting from the 1st of June, 2020, and payments into the GTB, Zenith, and Stanbic accounts would no longer be accepted. To activate this smart feature, simply follow these easy steps;
1. Login to VTpass website www.vtpass.com using your username and password 2. Click “My Account” at the top right corner of the page 3. Click the “KYC and BVN Info” button, fill the form, and submit. 4. Click the “Business Info” button, fill the form, and submit.
Your unique VTpass Instant Wallet funding account number will be generated within one hour. Come back to “My Account” page after one hour to view your unique account number. Be sure to save it. Anytime you want to credit your wallet, simply make a transfer to this unique account number. It would reflect instantly on your VTpass wallet.

All you have to do is create a master password only you can remember as your password to your password manager. Whenever you create an account doing any online activity, simply store your login details in your password manager. You can download a password management app from Google PlayStore or AppStore.
3. Re-use passwords on similar web activities
Yes, we agree that it is wrong to use a password more than once, but it’s actually easier to remember a password is you are using it to secure two or three online accounts that are related. We are talking about using one password for your emails (maximum of three), one password for your social media accounts (max of three), etc.
When you use one password on related web activities, it is easier to remember. However, never use a password for more than three related web accounts. When it comes to online payments, banking, and wallets, etc, never reuse a password!
So what do you do when you lose or forget your VTpass password? The answer is to simply reset your password! That easy. You cannot retrieve a lost or forgotten VTpass password, but you can always reset it to a password you can remember.
To reset your VTpass password, follow these steps;
A new password will be sent to you via mail and SMS with instructions on resetting your password. Follow the instruction in the mail or SMS sent to you to successfully reset your password. We advise you change the password to the one you can easily remember after you login.
