Why VTpass + IBEDC & YEDC Products are a Powerhouse Combo

In the financial sector, diversity is essential. This also applies to your VTpass offerings! Adding IBEDC (Ibadan Electricity Distribution Company) and YEDC (Yola Electricity Distribution Company) goods to your current VTpass services is a smart strategic decision for the following reasons:.

Why IBEDC and YEDC are a powerhouse combo

Boost Your Bottom Line: Sell YEDC Electric and Watch Your Earnings Grow

As a terminal agent, you’re constantly searching for methods to boost your revenue and give your clients greater value. You don’t need to search any farther! For your company, partnering with VTpass and YEDC (Yola Electricity Distribution Company) to offer its services has the potential to be unique. This is the reason why:

Expanding Your Service Portfolio:

Exceed data payments: By adding YEDC goods to your current offerings, you position yourself as your clients’ go-to source for all of their electrical needs. This convenience draws in new clients looking for a full-service supplier and keeps existing ones coming back to you.

My Prepaid Meter Tragedy

The Prepaid Meter is fast becoming popular, but this wasn’t always the case. When introduced, many were excited at the prospect of paying for the exact electricity units used. No more estimated bills. No more inaccurate readings. Also, an end to paying for electricity you were not supplied.

Another group of people didn’t react as well to this. Those who had tampered with their meters so they would have reduced bills to pay. I was one of such people. Yes. Corruption is everywhere. I didn’t even register for the prepaid meter, yet it was brought. That’s how I knew that my village people wanted to start writing final year project on my head.

The prepaid meter came with free units and for a while, I was in heaven. All was well in paradise until barely two weeks later, the units finished. I needed to make payment. I “shaparly” logged on to vtpass.com where a friend had told me I can make my electricity bill payments. In less than a minute, my IKEDC payment was done. Seamless, just the way I like it!

I still did not have light! How come? I contacted VTpass 24-hour support, chatted with Laolu, and He told me that there was debt on my meter. New meter? That’s when I discovered that the free units are not actually free! I paid and got more units. Now there’s light almost all through the day, great! 4 days later, my units were depleted. I could not cry. Please coman take this prepaid meter back, I don’t want. Bring back awa postpaid, I’m in severe pains.

I have learnt my lesson. Every thing is deducted from your units. Now, even my wall sockets go off if I am not using it, because this prepaid life is difficult!

You Are Mentally Exhausted

Are you mentally exhausted and don’t know it? There always exist periods where it seems you lose interest in working and develop what can be described as an apathy towards work. Someone could even say you’re being lazy or laidback towards work.

We’ll walk you through a quick test today to check if you’re dealing with exhaustion or you’re just really lazy.

1. You Don’t Feel Motivated.

Firstly, you don’t feel motivated. Not feeling motivated is not always a sign of laziness, it can actually be a pointer to emotional exhaustion sometimes which arises as a result of the fact that you have done so much brainwork without adequate rest.

2. You Can’t Focus Or Concentrate.

Secondly, you are losing focus. Are you finding it hard to concentrate on what needs to be done? If you find yourself getting distracted easily, it could be a pointer to the fact that you are stressed and it needs to be managed before it affects you at the workplace.

3. You Constantly Fantasize About Drastic Change

Thirdly, you’re in a fantasy world. Do you find yourself suddenly imagining what your life would look like if you won the lottery? Or if someone suddenly relocated you away from the country? Using such fantasies to escape your present reality is a pointer to emotional exhaustion.

4. Small Tasks Seem Overwhelming.

Similarly, when stressed or mentally exhausted, you suddenly begin to struggle with tasks that you naturally would execute. At this point, work seems like a big deal and you just need it all to stop so you can breathe.

5. Making Your Bill Payments Stresses You.

In conclusion, we know any little thing stresses you out when you’re exhausted, especially when it concerns money. That’s why with vtpass.com, you can buy airtime/data, subscribe GOtvDStv, or Startimes, pay electricity bills, buy insurance or pay educational bills at the tap of a button. Above all, you eradicate stress!

5 Things to Expect from BBNaija 2020 Season 5

It’s been all hot. Real hot; since MultiChoice announced in June that the 5th season of the Big Brother Naija (bbnaija) reality TV show premieres on July 19th, 2020.

Pulses have risen, eyes raised, hands robbing together as millions of fans wonder what to expect from this year’s edition.

If you’re like us standing at the door trying to peck inside? Don’t flex a muscle! We’ve got you covered. Here are 5 things to expect from this year’s BBNaija reality TV show, Season 5:

bbnaija 2020

1. Bigger Prize Money

When the show organizers claimed that this year’s prize money was going to be bigger, they weren’t joking. A whopping N85 million awaits the King or Queen who conquers the house. N85 million!

The breakdown of the grand prize for BBNaija season five includes an N30m cash prize; a two-bedroom apartment courtesy Revolution Plus; a top of the range SUV from Nigerian automaker, Innoson Motors; a trip to Dublin courtesy Guinness; home appliances courtesy Scanfrost; a trip to Dubai packaged by Travelbeta; a year’s supply of Indomie noodles, Munch it and Colgate toothpaste; a year’s supply of Pepsi, a branded chiller and a trip to watch the UEFA Champions League finale; and a brand new Oppo mobile smartphone.

By far, this is the biggest prize for a TV reality show in Africa. Imagine what you could do with all those goodies!

bbnaija 2020

2. COVID-19 safety measures

The organizers mentioned earlier that they would be taking precautions to keep the housemates safe and coronavirus-free in season five of the show.

We shouldn’t be surprised to see health workers in the house performing health screenings or frequently disinfecting the house in the course of the show. This should be fun.

However, we wouldn’t see any live audience at the Sunday eviction show or external visitors like celebrities or BBNaija Ninjas in the house this year. Ouch.

Carefully tested measures have been put in place to ensure minimal contact with outsiders once the housemates enter the house.

3. Dramatic relationship, intense friendship zoning

Oh-my-god relationships, wow friendships, hahaha fights; these are the little things that keep us glued to the show.

We have seen several relationships in previous seasons and some definitely led to marriage. Teddy A and BamBam got married last year and gave us our Big Brother Naija baby.

Yeah, we know some relationships didn’t end so well, but it’s always exciting witnessing the build-up process. Season 5 wouldn’t be any different!

4. More fun games, unpredictable twists

BBNaija without the mind twists is definitely not BBNaija. Last year, just when the housemates thought that they have seen more than enough, Big Brother brought in five more housemates in just one week. The introduction of Venita, Elozonam, Enkay, Joe, and Cindy definitely spiced things up.

What about the Ultimate Veto Power given to housemates to nominate other housemates for possible eviction?

When it comes to games, BBNaija sure got it. Perhaps Betway or Guinness Nigeria would put together one of those games that always leads to drama and exciting conversations thereafter.

It’s never down to the basics, Biggie always seems to have more tricks under his sleeves.

bbnaija 2020

5. Nerve-pulling Diary sessions

Big Brother is never complete without the fun of the diary room where housemates go to pour out their hearts to Big Brother. Yikes! A lot of things are revealed in that room.

Every season, there are always housemates we refer to them as the Kings and Queens of the Diary room. We always look forward to their sessions.

Omoshola in 2019 (PepperDem) was definitely a King of the Diary room. His sessions were hilarious, exciting, and interesting to watch. He didn’t care if he was using pidgin English and English at the same time or how funny what he said could sound, he just had to say his mind.

Surely, contestants coming into the house this season understands what the diary room means and would be hoping to make the most of it. More entertainment for us! The rule is simple: “say your mind”.

Bonus – A Possible Crossdresser?

This one almost broke the internet, so we decided to make it a bonus. A Nigerian crossdresser known as Jay Boogie took to his Instagram account to ask for a social media account manager as he was going into the house.

For real? Some people affirmed this information was true, others claimed they were lies. Well, we would leave it at that and see what the house brings.
